Kids Say the Darndest Things

These are all from Cecilia, almost 28 months old:

On Sunday, Chris whispered to her to tell me Happy Mother's Day. She ran up to me and exuberantly exclaimed, "Happy Saint Mother's Day!!!"

Today, she was outside hanging on the glider swing (grabbing the bars and lifting her legs up, dangling in midair), and she was announcing to herself, "I'm very up in the sky!"

Then she saw a spotted bird outside... it looked like a tan-colored dove with spots near its tail. She said, "They have freckles on them!"
