One a Penny, Two a Penny...

...Hot Cross Buns!
I mixed up all the dry ingredients the night before and added the liquid first thing in the morning so the dough would have time to rise and then be shaped into rolls and rise again before lunch. I figured that I could eat a roll as my lunch (day of fast and abstinence) while the girls ate rolls along with something more substantial (kids don't have to fast until they are 14 or maybe even 16... can't remember exactly).
